Christmas cards for aged Seattle people in Condorcet!

Vive la magie de Noël! Les élèves du collège Condorcet ont décidé d'apporter un peu de bonheur à des
personnes âgées outre atlantique. Il s'agit d'une maison de retraite de Seattle.

Afin de confectionner de jolies cartes, ils ont fait appel à leur professeur d'art, Mr Garnier qui les
a fait travailler sur un projet basé sur la gestion du hasard.

Puis nous avons travaillé ensemble sur la rédaction de leurs messages en anglais.

Les classes participantes ( 5èmes 1 et 2 puis les 6èmes 3&4 de Mme Morisseau) peuvent être fières
de leur implication et du résultat! Ils vous relatent ci-dessous le déroulement du projet et leur ressenti.

Who are we? By Clément, Etienne, Marwan, Juliane, Delphine and
Hugo.

« We are witty and enthusiastic English students. We are 12 years old. We study in the
middleschool 'Condorcet'. We study English with Mrs Rivalland. We are a talkative class. »

Who are we writing to? By Thomas, Aurore, Killian, Laurannie
and Gaël.

« Hello! We are in 5ème 1! This year we write to Marianwood in Seattle, in the USA, it's a
retirement house.

The work in Art by Nathan , Pascaline, Samuel, Mathys and
Samantha.

« Mr Garnier pours paint on a paper to use imagination. We have a shape and imagine a picture. Mr
Garner helps us find beautiful picture. »

 The work in English by Manon, Chloé,Delphine, Alexis and Dimitri.

« We study a letter in English. We write a draft. After we choose the correpondants and we write
beautiful, Mrs Rivalland sends the letter. »

The goal by Benoît, Karen, Sonia, Julie and
Coraline.

« The goal is to make happy the elderly people for Christmas, we are happy to please them, to
cheer them up. »

A nice experience! By the 5ème2 students.

« It was a good action, it was funny to have aged penfriends. It is very original and
interesting. We felt compassion. We loved to write and to draw the card. We love know them. » Flavie, July, Maëlle and Bettina.
